  • @JonJamesYoung That's good to know!

  • @brett19661 Asolo is an italian brand....

  • I am not aware of a war between hiking boots and shoes. A heavy duty boot is designed for hard and rough terrain, scrambling over rocks and uneven detritus, with higher boots providing necessary ankle support. However walking shoes are more practical when used on a flat and well established trails. Asolo make great boots and shoes, however I prefer Italian brands like Zanberlan and Scarpa. I have no knowledge of ankles being able to 'FLEX' and get stronger when wearing any type of shoes!

  • I have a pair of Asolo Fugitive boots and they are by far the best bootsI've EVER had. For boots they are light but they are nice and sturdy. one thing i do suggest is getting some insoles like superfeet or dr. scholes. Just for some added comfort for your foot.

  • Glad you finally came to the lite, pun intended.

    cheers

  • @orlandogil14 I highly recommend them! I've had mine since 2004 and they show very little wear and tear. Very rugged boot!!!

  • It's a top pick by Backpacker, and by NOLS.

  • What do you guys think about Fugitive GTX from Asolo?

  • Good hiking wisdom

  • im going to buy these
