In these days of the late 50´s and early 60´s. Ray was a lot better singer and had recorded much grater songs than these teen heros did. Haw many think Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, or Fabian was great? Well those guys sold records. Maybe Ray was just a little to old and to much country styled, for the teenagers those days. Anywhay Ray was to all of us who love real Rock´n Roll, one of the best.
I saw Ray at the Ottawa House in Hull severeal times in the 60's and he always put on a great show.He used to open the first set playing the piano and singing Rockin Robin.I wish someone would put Ray's version of that song on You Tube.
THE BESTEST !!!!!! :O)))))) Thank YOU Marko !!!
