I love the idea for this story. I wrote this a quite a while ago, and I didn't finish it. So, here it is...

"Emily."
The little girl [ http://media.photobucket.com/image/adorable%20little%20girl/ashleymccormickph... (but with longer, curly hair) ] turned around when she heard her name. She smiled at her mommy and ran to her side, taking her hand and skipping along. The young girl picked up her child and placed her into her car seat, before climbing into the car. As she started the engine, Emily piped up, "Mommy? Where's my daddy?"
Demi hesitated for a moment, before finally answering her daughters question, "I don't know, sweetie. I haven't seen him in a long time."
"Can you find him?" Emily asked, innocently, "all the other kids have daddies, I want one, too."
"I'll try," Demi replied. She made a promise to herself to look properly for Emily's dad, this time.
When Demi and Emily arrived at their apartment [ http://freshome.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/aprtment.jpg ], Emily went to play and Demi went to the phone. She took a moment to think, trying to remember Joe's parents' phone number. She guessed the number, and waited for an answer. After a few seconds, the voice of Denise Jonas sounded at the other end of the receiver
"Hello?"
"Hello, Denise? Its... Demi."
"Demi?! Oh, sweetie, how've you been?"
"I'm good, thanks... Um, I was wondering if you could give me Joe's phone number, I need to speak with him," Demi asked, shyly.
"Of course, it's 1 (818) 748 8887 [Jonas Brothers SayNow]," Denise replied.
"Thank you, Denise."
"You're welcome, see you soon, Demi, goodbye."
"Bye." Demi hung up the phone and then began to type the number from Denise. Her hand was shaking as she held the phone to her ear.
"Hello?"
"Joe..?"
"Who is this?"
"It's Demi..."
"D-Demi? Like, love-of-my-life Demi?" he asked. Demi's cheeks blushed a light shade of pink.
"Um... I need to see you," she said.
"Uh, okay. I'll meet you at Starbucks?" he asked.
"Sure, is two o'clock alright?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'll be there."
"C-Can I bring someone with me?" Demi asked.
"Uh, sure, I guess."
[Two o'clock]
Joe: *sitting at a table waiting for Demi*
Demi: *enters Starbucks with Emily and slowly approaches Joe*
Joe: Demi? Whoa... Y-Youve changed... a-and you have a daughter?
Demi: *sits down at the table and lifts Emily onto her lap* So do you.
Joe: Huh?
Demi: Joe, she's your daughter.
Joe: *shocked* M-My daughter? What's her name?
Demi: Emily-Grace.
Joe: Lovato?
Demi: *shakes her head* Jonas.
Emily: *smiling* Are you my daddy?
Joe: Uh, yeah, I guess I am. *smiles*
Emily: *smiles even bigger and hugs Joe* Can we go get ice-cream, Mommy?
Demi: Sure.
Emily: Can Daddy come?
Demi: Uhm... *looks at Joe* Do you wanna come?
Joe: Eh, it's up to you...
Demi: It's for Emily... You should come.
*They all go to an ice-cream parlour, and then to the park.*
Emily: *walking a little ahead of Jemi, eating her ice-cream*
Jemi: *silent, eating their ice-creams*
Emily: *runs to play on the swings*
Jemi: *sit down together on a bench*
Joe: *slowly reaches to her hand and intertwines their fingers*
Demi: *blushes slightly and looks down so her hair covers her face*
Joe: I missed you.
Demi: Me too. But that's not all you missed.
Joe: I know. I wish I'd never left.
Demi: Then why did you?
Joe: I-
Demi: *tearing up* Did you get bored of me?
Joe: No, I-
Demi: *voice starts breaking* Did you meet someone else?
Joe: No-
Demi: Then what was it? Why did you leave me when I needed you most? *tears are running down her face*
Joe: *hugs her tightly and lets her cry on him*
Demi: *crying* I was seventeen, Joe. I was scared, I couldnt raise a baby, especially alone.
Joe: Dems, I'm sorry. *looks over to Emily* You did a great job. She's perfect. *feels his phone vibrate and takes it out of his pocket; one missed call and a text message; reads the text*
{ -From: Taylor.
Hey Joey, wanna come to my place and we can have some fun?? ;) }
Joe: *notices Demi looking at the text* Some slut who keeps stalking me. But I have a missed call from my girlfriend.
Demi: *disappointed* Girlfriend? *wipes her tears*
Joe: Yeah, her name is Camilla. Maybe you can meet her sometime. I have to go dinners ready. Don't lose touch again, okay?
Demi: *nods* Bye.
Joe: *hugs her* Bye, Dems. *says goodbye to Emily and winks at Demi while running out of the park*
Demi: *sighs* Emily!
Emily* runs to Demi*
Demi: Come on, baby. Lets go home.
Emily: *takes her hand and they go home*
