DJmag take the new Tonium Pacemaker through it's paces to see if it can be used as a professional DJ product.

Watch the DJmag Tech Awards with Tom Middleton, Billy Nasty, Bill Brewster and Eitan Zilkha from Westend DJ store as they award the Pacemnaker the most Innovative Product in 2008.

We also tested out the Pacemaker at the legendary Back To Basics party in Leeds, where the residents played exclusively on wireless Pacemakers in room 2.

We interview Tristan Da Cuna, Ed Karney, James Theaker and Dave Beer.

  • @pondsj01 mines about 2 years old and id say its about 3-3.5 hours. its probibly more when new but i got it second hand

  • Zomby

  • Ill keep to my turntables... but I was looking for a portable FLAC player... anyone know the battery life on this?

  • I'm a dj and how many times haven't you wanted to just keep the music going instead of pausing it or switching the song. a pitch, crossfade and two decks is all that was needed. awesome!

  • 11:40

    Pass it!

  • @chexmixBMX101 why would u have your macbook?

  • They should be selling this, not to "open doors to new dj's" but as for well established djs who are maybe on journeys to gigs or just chilling somewhere without any real equipment and you have some ideas in your head on a mix. Easy!

  • dude in the grey hoodie looks like a white ted williams, on coke!

  • many features, effects, but it's too small and uncomfortable to mix music...

  • uhh id rather just stick with my cdjs ahahaha
