Schon gewaltig, was der Wind so bewegt. Ich hätte die Antenne nach Westen gestellt. Meiner Meinung nach stabilisiert sich das Ganze dann besser. Mein 3m Parabol in 17m Höhe hats auch gut überstanden. vy 73, Rudi

@BullSimons: da kam nur ein großes Staunen, Beten und Hoffen. Die alte Antenne MA5B hielt das beim Kyril nicht aus, da diese eine größere Windangriffsfläche hat ... 73

Maybe its already been said in the comments in your native language, but, next time turn the antenna broadside to the wind (boom broadside). The boom presents a smaller windload when broadside to the wind than the elements do. Then again, if you want to see the elements touch the boom next time, let er rip this way.

@kc2pih hi scott! yes, I thought the same way like you, but I give a chance for the 2m and 70cm yagi. and therefore all antennas survived. 73 de chris

Ich hab zu meiner Antenne den Windmesser (windmaster 2) in einem Kasten mit Videoübertragung der Windmessung verbaut und neben die Antenne gestellt.

@Accelerater Servus, ja damals hatte ich noch keinen Windmesser. Heute befindet sich dort oben am Kabin auch einer. Bin schon gespannt, wann wieder so ein Sturm kommen wird. War damals ganz furchtbar das ganz mitanzusehen ... ;-)
