Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University masters students were on a spring break trip in Tokyo on March 11, 2011 when the massive earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean northeast of Japan. The students shared their experiences and the current situation in Japan and alum Hiroyuki Kawada (MBA 2010) patched in from Kawasaki-City, Kanagawa, Japan. An aftershock occurred during the alum's call in to the panel. The students also reported about their fund raising efforts and "Thousand Cranes" project to help the victims.
