@ng21644605 I agree the HUD (heads up display) view is better. Most people dont comprehend what their looking at.
So Nasa switches is back and forth. The S-band antenna on the bottom of the orbiter tends to get cluttered with other info coming and going. So it doesnt always project a clear video for the camera.
@aimhigh59 But once it's in range they still switch to outside view - Which is the view that anyone can see anytime. To me, the cockpit view is FAR MORE INTERESTING.
