Agustin Barrios-Mangore - Prelude in G
From my Solo Guitar Recital - 02/06/09, United University Church, USC (Los Angeles)
From my program notes:
The Paraguayan composer Agustin Barrios-Mangoré lived during roughly the same period as these Spanish composers, although his music was only truly appreciated from the 1970s onwards, long after his death. His love for Beethoven, as well as the other Romantic composers of the time, is strongly present in his Prelude in C and Prelude in G - two magical, though undoubtedly melancholic works.
really nicely played - great range of expression in tone and dynamics

Very well done. I'm working on this now, looking for interpretations. Yours is very close to what I was doing, which is reassuring. There are some interesting fingerings, I would consider them harder, but they're not really getting in the way, so i guess that doesn't matter! keep up the good work!
