  • Missing Keith Whitley........This man could sing! This is what country should be like. Story telling and folk songs! Bring old country back!

  • I said this before.. Keith is speaking true pain. His songs were from the heart. Kurt Cobain was another artist that could rip your heart out with his music. Look at Keith in this video, then search Kurt (nirvana).. Deep, Deep but simple lyrics. These artist spoke truth.....

  • Brad, Kenny, Toby...take a listen to this voice. I hope you cash your checks wearing a ski mask, because Mr. Whitley made possible what you are enjoying today. THIS is country music, and THIS is talent. Cover-boy looks might make you money, but it doesn't mean you're talented. God bless you, Keith. Country music died with you.

  • This reminds me of my father , He loved Keith . Time gos by fast ,Take a breath.

  • Other than this song I still have to say the best song he did was "When you say nothing at all" I love what Allison Krauss did but the original was the best

  • man thay say willie an the boys this rite here was one of the boys even befor this song its like the voice if u know music u understand

  • How could you give this a thumbs down?

  • I saw Keith Whitley when he was 16 years old in a bluegrass band. He was with Ralph Stanley. I have fond memories of bluegrass festival with my family when I was a kid.

  • We lost a good one when you left us, Keith. Your voice is beautiful and true country.

So thankful to be able to view this. Good memories, for sure.

  • As fate would have it, real country music is gone with Keith Whitley and now all we have left to listen to is this bullshit so called country music we hear today. I call it "gossip country".
