The Dance of the Dragon comes along with the show of the Dance of the Lion at the festival to celebrate the entrance of Chinese New Year. This present year, 2009, the feast was in January 27th. The year of the Bull. The performance we watch was held in Nakhon Ratchasima city or Korat, in northeast Thailand. The performers are a Dragon & Dancing Lion Group from Nakhon Sawan city, in central Thailand.

  • Happy Chinese New Year of The Dragon! Thx for The Sacred Dragon Dance, in Chinese Culture. A Team of people (50+) CARRIES The Dragon on POLES. The Dragon represents FORCE, MYSTERY in Life & Imperial Authority. The Dragon is a SYMBOL of Good Luck, Prosperity, Supernatural Power and Wisdom. EXCELLENT for being very SKILFUL & SEXY!

  • @dietcoke1z That's why the announcer keeps warning everyone in Thai to "watch out for the dragon's fire" ;) I'm sure there are injuries every year. In Thailand safety doesn't always come first ;)

  • Thailand has one of the world, I play it. ^_^

  • WOU

  • Holy crap that looks dangerous. Weren't they getting burnt up by the fireworks? The dragon is beautiful though.
