@RisforRockit she switched all the time. here, we see her use the plectrum for "stay hungry." then at 3.18, she puts the plectrum down on the speaker and plays "cities" finger style. in another video on youtube, she plays "cities" with the pick. it depended on which bass she was using as well. with the brown gibson-like bass (used throughout the 1980 rome concert videos) she ALWAYS used a plec. i think the sound of the bass in the 1980 concerts was terrible. much better here in 1979.

I was at this concert. We took our place next to the sound board, one small riser level above the crowd, bouncing in unison on the main. floor in front of us. The sound man turned and handed me about 1/4 lb of skunk, and inquired as to whether I could roll a good, big joint. We did, and it was.
