Ever wanted to smash open your plasma screen TV? Don't do it! You can see what's inside, in less than four minutes. This is a timelapse of me taking apart a dead plasma screen. Watch...and learn!

Question: Is there any precious metal inside a Toshiba model 26AV502R? I know there's mercury inside plasma tv.

  • @uchihasurvival I don't know...there's probably some...

  • These things are a pain to repair on your own, like most devices these days. And technology is so relatively inexpensive, that by the time you pay the repair person, you could purchase a new TV. But, what the heck, ask the repair place for quote first, just to be sure.
