A one night outing north of Mount Rainier. The video shows our set up and other preparations for the mission. Mojo films the area and talks about capturing video and why it's so difficult to get video evidence despite all the camera phones and video devices out there.

  • About the only way these guys could be more hardcore is if they put on face paint, tore off their shirts and painted BIG FOOT on their chests. Snap in the woods with no wind is BIGFOOT. It is not likely to be nothing. You just missed your big chance. Branch snap = hello. Boulder toss = get lost. If you did'nt talk so much, you might be able to record at least those "hello" branch snaps. Get out your Elvis CD's, and keep Bigfoot from getting bored. We bore them.

  • @screamdr. A branch snap does not always mean "bigfoot", that's fantasy. It could be dozens of things.

  • I'd have to agree with the continous filming but with only a few hours of filming time per memory card it would be your luck as you were changing cards the bastard would come out in front of you a few yards away and look you square in the face and then run off before you can film him...

  • @LongFoot100 Yeah, when you're in the field for an entire day and night or numerous days you have to constantly remind yourself to keep your camera with you and be ready to film on a few seconds notice. I don't know how many times I've wondered away from camp to take a leak or whatever only to realize I didn't have my camera with me. I keep thinking to myself... "this is when the bastard will show up". Murphy's freak'n law. You just gotta keep up the research and beat those bushes!

  • You may want to look up in the trees down that road. :O)

    Thanks for sharing,

  • @TheMojo1963 You have a lot to learn yet, young grasshoppa. Elk, deer, bear & coyote are afraid of man, which would also cause to the sound of a rapid departure. Mountain lion and Bigfoot would be the only likely candidates when no rapid departure is heard after the branch snap. Just because you can't see anything, does not mean that it is not a Bigfoot. Listen to the Indians. They know. Lions are very rare. Bigfoot are very common. They will follow me home from time to time.

  • In the woods, you're talking 1 second or less. I've seen them flash and it's ridiculous. Deers you see but these guys flash by like they're a comic book character. Good vid and wish I lived around that country. BTW, many more than you think.

  • @LongFoot100 So true, lol!!!
