While in Las Vegas, Nevada, my friend, Eric took an opportunity to shoot a 70+ year old Thompson Submachine Gun. Eric paid $80 to shoot 3 magazines with 25 bullets each. Eric thouroughly enjoyed his once in a lifetime experience. I just wanted to watch and video tape his experience. According to the gun shop, the Tommy Gun is valued at $20k. And we also got a history lesson about the gun from the instructor too. It was a VERY COOL experience.

  • It's not a Tommy, it's a "WWII". The Tommy version is the Mafia Drum mag with grip Thompson. And good job.

  • @linbiao What!? Anyway, the answer is that this Tommy Gun fires from a bolt-open position. Pulling the trigger slams the bolt shut and fires the gun. When all the ammo is expended it stays closed.

  • I love how he says, "Machine Gun Market", it is not machine gun it is a "submachine gun.

  • @gerv55

The bolt goes back when the magazine is empty. The bolt only goes forward when the drum is empty.

  • Weird, whys the bolt popping to the back position when its empty? Its meant to stay forward when theres no more rounds left.

  • yeah i prefer XD to a lot of stuff. its a good little gun. recoils kinda bad on the 1 inch barrel but its still a lot of fun. by the way how was the recoil on that tommy?

  • that was hella bitchin!! two thumbs way up

  • also read its like 139$ to shoot a mp40 tomphson and a 1911 colt .45
