Love this song!
(Gasp!) Did that guy put Gibson humbuckers on that nice Gretsch 6120? Ah, give me a time machine, send me back to the pre-Stray Cats 70's when Gretsches weren't worth shit and let me bring a few back.

I think I like this more than any Flamin' Groovies song! At least more than anything by the post-Loney lineup. ;)

Thanks for posting! Roy & The Phantom Movers' album "Contents Under Pressure" had a profound effect on me at a time when I'd just bought my first electric guitar (1981).

This is the sound I spent all my waking club hours devouring 1979-1981.

This is not Tim Lynch but James Ferrell who joined the Groovies after Tim and Roy had left.

Any other original groovies besides Roy & Danny? The guitarist with the long sideburns looks like Tim Lynch can anyone verify?
Thanks for filling a great big hole in my head regarding this guy! I discovered the Groovies with "Shake Some Action" and though I caught up on the older stuff and his solo work, the only image that really stuck in my mind was the 1st solo LP cover. It's great to finally see him in his element!
Any Beserkley Records artists in the Attic?
