This video was up here a while back but seems to be gone now so here it is again. This seems like some kind of V.S.O.P. reunion with Joe Hen on sax instead of Wayne. Great playing all around. Herbie Hancock on piano, Ron Carter on bass, Tony Williams on drums.

this is not for the fainthearted, but is pretty much as far as jazz ever got. After this it could only break apart and explode. Love Freddie's solos and the rhythm section cooking behind him. Herbie kills it.
