  • @BassRocker617 Yeah, fair enough.

    I'm not normally a genre person - but Contortionist are NOT tech metal. That's like calling Cannibal Corpse metalcore.

    The Contortionist are heralded as one of the greatest in the field, and the pioneers of the progressive metal genre. When describing a new band to friends, people use 'The Contortionist' as a likening to them, because they have such a unique sound.

    They really, really, REALLY are not tech death...

    Tech death is Necrophagist.
