Welcome to the fifth installment of the Working Families Lobby Corps' Session Update. This video details the work by the affiliates of the Florida AFL-CIO as they fight for working families against corporate and legislative tyranny. This video covers the Legislatures attempts to change minimum wage, along with the press conference of teachers, firefighters and law enforcement officers in response to the Chamber of Commerce Ad that states they speak for these workers. This video also shows the events on Thursday as hundreds of nurses, teachers students and unemployed workers packed the capitol to deliver pink slips to Governor Rick Scott, along with footage from the pension votes in both houses.
