Live 1980's Keyboard Solo Medley on Novation KS-5 & X-Station

Me playing some of the 80's keyboard stuff. This is my 1'st music experiment, started to practice keyboard playing about 1 year ago inspired by Hamsterdunce's medley :). Unfortunaly, YouTube accepts maximum of 10:59 and my video longs 12:32, so I've cut it to 10:59. What did you use for making the backtracking ? (the sounds that were not performed live)

Software ? Vsts ? The Novation itself ?

@Keybern, I used a Cubase as sequencer and VSTi Halion as sampler and KS-5 itself as synth played by sequencer as well. All this methods are combined in this video. Futhermore, I used an KS-5 arpeggiator synced to Cubases midi-clock at the last song.

there's quite a lot discussion about the crackling noises the KS tends to make...

How do you deal with it ?

@Keybern, crackling noises starts to sound when sound levels in internal synth engine are clipped because of high levels. I think, this is standart digital "feature" of digital mixing. So if you will keep moderate sound levels, everything will be fine.

Props man. I've fiddled around with keys and synths enough to know this took some effort to setup and good bit of practise and listening. (I'm way too lazy for that, I prefer jamming live in Ninjam as there's other people playing the other tracks and live drummers etc so nothing to setup besides my own sound. You should check it out sometime, it's a whole different game from playing memorized licks when people may be playing stuff you've never heard before that's hard to relate)
