Love to hear more about that SIS Kimberly. I keep hearing rumors some Kimberly 1911s jam n have feeding problems. I am still doing my research n would like to hear from some of u on their reliability. I want to purchase one. I like the TLR 3 n the SIS with railings.

One thing about kimber is they use cheap metal. If i were the LAPD I would go with a Les Baer Thunder Ranch special because it will hold up better and has more features. But Kudos to Kimber for their support for LAPD families.

That SIS is the NICEST 1911 I have ever felt. So damn smooth.

You gotta respect what Kimber is doing for the families of slain LAPD officers. Makes me even happier to own a Kimber.

In this day and age, it is hard to screw up steel.
Modern steel is leaps and bounds ahead of the materials used in the 40's and 50's.
