That Jesus, God, and sin are inextricably intertwined concepts is side-stepped in the video "Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus."

It is axiomatic that good advice is quite often good, no matter who offered it. However, we should not blindly follow advice because of who offered it (be it Jesus, Buddha, John Lennon, or Vladimir Lenin), nor should we bolster our own ideas by invoking the guesswork support of supernatural entities. The merits of advice must be evaluated without the burden of divine presuppositions.
