use this laser transfer foil using your laser printer of copier. You need to print off your images and then lay the foil on top. Run it through a laminator and the foil sticks to the black toner from the printer. its great and works really well, no skills required. You can buy this product at www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk.

  • does it have to be a laser printer? i have the HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One Printer - C310a but i wanted to use this in my project. is it possilbe if i print out the part i want "foiled" and once I apply the foil, reprint the full thing with color and wipe it off of the foil part. Would this work?????

  • @number1HPfan938 These foils can only be used with a laser printer, they work by adhering to the printed black toner ink.

The printer you have is an inkjet and is therefore not compatible with the foil. If you are able to contact a local print shop who own a laser printer they may be able to print your design for you.

There is a way of easily combining coloured prints with the foils. This process is explained in detail on the product page of our website.

  • This looks like a cracking invention. My guess is it's a sheet of white toner, bound to different metallic finishes. Pop it through a laminator at above 225 degrees C and the white and black toner melt together, Can I have a job now? =p

  • @cassey05 This isn't a technique we have used before so we cannot offer much advice i'm afraid. This may work but we couldn't say for sure. Sorry we couldn't be of more help. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Kind Regards

  • @jblackrupert hi! can i use this foil in printing with water slide laserjet decal? i mean, i will print the design in a waterslide decal, then overlap with foil paper, then use iron for clothes to adhere the foil to the laserjet paper?

  • Thank you so much sharing such a great tip!!
