The one thing that never ceases to amaze me every time I see this video is how they could get that many people to keep a straight face when they were all on stage at the same time mocking the televangelist set.
daddymak, You may be right about Phil, Mike & Tony, since their lineup was the most prolific & enduring, but the Hall of Fame usually honors all members of a band or none, and I don't know if Genesis would have ever existed without Peter, and Steve certainly can't be left out.
As for this video, it looks like they all got to cut loose at the end after being so reserved earlier. Do you notice Phil's eye twitch in the opening, perhaps he is also trying not to laugh!
They should play this at Oral Roberts's funeral! Of course, at the R&RHOF, I'm fairly sure Phil will sing either "Turn It On Again" or "That's All". Any other songs will probably be done by Peter, say "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" or "Musical Box"?
I'm not going to jump the gun but they were voted in because of the lineup of Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford. I don't think Peter Gabriel will even be there. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.
