Republican 9/11 'tribute' - 2 minutes hate

I was disgusted by the republican 'tribute' to 9/11 on the final night of the RNC. It exploited the deaths of those people for political purposes. The crowd reactions throughout the night reminded me of the 2 minutes hate from 1984.
The music used in this video is Dead Can Dance - The Host of Seraphim.
Film footage taken from the Michael Radford film adaptation of 1984, adapted from the book 1984 by George Orwell.

Very well done.
I missed the video when it was initially shown, just saw the RNC video 20 minute ago or so. It is just plain wrong.
I am glad I missed the original showing, I would have been far to upset if I had seen it live.

When I saw it, I was almost overcome with anger. I knew the republican campaign tactics were bad, but their 'tribute' was way over the line.

Excellent allusion to "1984". America needs to wake up to what is happening. The Neo-con exploiting the tragedy of 9-11 to sow fear into the hearts of the American people. The Bush Regime rhetoric is straight from "1984" and George Goebles.

Thankyou. I'm surpised by how little attention the republican 'tribute' has got in the media, it should be torn to shreds for the sickening propeganda that it is.
