A big thank you to Dr. Leonard Moore, Vice-President, UT Diversity & Community Engagement, for his keynote address: "The Dream Realized", at our 2009 MLK Day of Service, and for this inspiring interview about what giving back means to him.

  • "they like the white qb, dont they." from the fall of one of your racist, rambling, worthless lectures, when you were should have been talking about african american history. the white qb, who led lsu to the bcs championship that same year.

it turns out giving the best person the job is better than giving someone a job, based on the color of their skin.

did you just praise MLK? you seemed to think he was a sellout, during the brief time, that you were teaching historically accurate 411.

  • ..and you suggested i was a racist. i appreiate that.

on an unrelated note. if you want to be historically accurate, you shouldnt hide the historial significance of coastal africans in the role of slavery in the new world.

you grossly distorted their significance. because without the help of of coastal africans, who had natural defense a/g malaria, knowledge in farming, the sugar and cotton trade of north south america wouldnt have been so lucrative.

  • Dr. Moore, i remember you from LSU. Congratulations on your new position. as a student in american history, my college required me to take your class at LSU. ill always remember you as a teacher, because you insisted on rambling on about white racism in sports for 30-45 minutes of your tuesday and thursday lectures of fall of 03.

one day, i insisted on interupting your bullshit and asked you why you think that is more important than the required material what is on the course catalogue.
