!!Watch in HD for best image!! This is a walkthrough of my Sevylor Fish Hunter from my home made motor mount, to the floor and towing system for an additional gear raft. I plan to add heavier duty rod holders for trolling my bigger salt water rods for mackerel and such. I also want to put in a front bench seat where I'll mount the beer... I mean soda holder. I hope this video gives you some ideas and feel free to kindly share your suggestions or request further details of my customizations! See Part 2 for more in depth on the Motor mount http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbIkKUI7eTM Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector

  • how long does the battery last?

  • @alexandro411 As you know, all batteries are a little different. It depends on the actual health/size/charge on your battery vs. what ever you are using the battery for. My Optima dry-cell battery gets a good several hours of intermittent use on the trolling motor. It really all depends.

  • hi..just want to ask about the floor..what kin o wood that you use because it seems so lighter than plywood and what kind material you use to wrap the wood?

  • @khyrull86 It's just pressure treated/water treated plywood. It is heavy ass hell as a full sheet, but once you cut the floor, it seems a lot lighter. I used outdoor carpeting from Home Depot.

  • can you use any battery for the trolling motor or does it have to be a special battery?

  • @alexandro411 Any type of 12 V battery

  • Hi, I wanted to make a floor for an inflatable. I was thinking of doing vinyl flooring or vinyl and wrap it with carpet, or just a sturdy indoor/outdoor carpet. Do you recommend the wood, and carpet? What if I use 2 sections for a longer vessel? Is the minnkota 40lb faster than the 30lb? is the larger motor really worth it? I've read it will only drain my battery faster.

  • btw..l excellent job all around. love the ideas. i will eventually be adding a boot to go around the boat.

  • ivegot tthe 360 12' inflatable and id like to put a motor on and a floor but not sure how to go about the floor. extirpate326@gmail.com. anyone make a how to video or care toexplain it a little better for me.

  • You don't need to register these right?

  • Some great Ideas! I love rigging inflatables

  • Could you film this again and turn on some lights? It's so dark you can't see any detail

  • It's a really really nice raft. Good video. Thumbs up who agrees with me.

  • I've got the 12' Fish Hunter and I've really been wanting to upgrade. Man, you've got some great ideas on this boat.

  • Hey dude, i was wondering, i have mine rigged up with a 40lb minn kota, but i wanted to get a 4hp for it. the boat says it can hold up to 4hp , but on sites it says only 2.5? i dont get it, and will my motor bracket that i baught from the store handle it?!
