The most frustrating part about this and the reason it didn't take 4 minutes as I would expect was that WALL-E is packed extremely tightly and is secured to the tricky card board box in MANY MANY locations. (Get those cutters out!)

Why is the box so tricky? We'll I reached my peak of frustration when I had visually freed him from all ties, yet he would still not move from the bottom of the box. I checked the bottom of the box and there were no TIES!

That's where the trick is: its a TWO-LAYERED BOX on the BOTTOM only!
So there is ties, but they are hidden.

After I ripped the first layer of card board from the bottom I was finally able to see the ties that where holding his tracks down to the box.

Hope this helps you get him out with the least frustration!

They definitely package WALL-E snuggly. The only thing worse than the anticipation for getting WALL-E out of the box was waiting for the initial battery charge to finish. 4 hours for about 30 minutes of playtime :-(
