I am looking forward to the 7 Walkers show in Atlanta. As others asked, though, tell us more about these Furthur claims. All I can think is you are dredging up the Jerry guitar saga again. However you feel about that, it was a disagreement about a particular decision and not being disrespectful in any general or musical sense. Also, Billy did complain about JK on lead in Furthur...again, though, a focused comment. He did not say Furthur was sad. JK is doing much better in any case,

I been into the Grateful Dead since 79 and since they took the GD Hour off of the local stations, I just been kinda listening to old tapes that I recorded off the radio and some YouTube stuff.

Last time, I saw the Dead was as the Warlocks for two shows at the Hampton Coliseum in VA back in 92. Awesome shows!

@Mu51ch3r3 I wouldn't quite say Furthur sucks, they are producing some good music BUT, I agree that what Bob is doing is WRONG. If he wants to do all vocals-just call it Ratdog. I really enjoyed Bill and Micky's band Rhythm Devils this past summer-SMOKING hot with Tim Blum and Davey Knowles.

Furthur sucks, there has been so much BS coming out of members from that band and its just wrong. Even Billy has said it is sad what is going on with Furthur, they're just riding on the wave that Garcia started but in the wrong way. Bobby not honoring Jerry's will and being disrespectful to Jerry is just wrong. At least Billy is trying to do something original by forming a band and writing all new songs with Robert Hunter and crew, ya cant beat Rob Hunter though :)
