Coleman Shows 2008 Middletown CT

Day and night views of this annual carnival which opens the season for Coleman Brothers Shows in Middletown CT. The show lasted until 9 PM Saturday night and by 9 AM Sunday morning the field was empty. That the entire carnival could be dis-assembled and carted away over night is amazing. I live across the street and did not hear a sound as they folded the tents and fled. Next stop, Willimantic....

I wonder how they're going to fit in at the updated and improved Palmer Field parking lot. There is much less open space now and a fence along the entire rear perimeter where they use to back their mobile homes up to the river bank.

when I was 17 I did half a season with Coleman Brothers and some concessions that woeked the same venuses. I just retired from te Navy and am starting a concession business on the west coast. like the video.
