I've been trying to tell people what you've pointed out in this video for years now.
It seems that a lot of people just haven't taken the time to use the lump of mush they consider a brain to stop, think about and realise it.
I think I gave a similar statement including points of this video once when I was looking through Yahoo! Answers helping noobs out in "Computers and Internet".
Seriously, some of those people on Yahoo! Answers probably shouldn't have PC's. ^.^
