Footage from Rachel's murder by the Israeli Defense Forces. Actual cockpit transmission from the D-9 bulldozer driver to the watch tower, saying he "hit an object" and "I think the object got hit by the dobby (D-9) and he is in a severe condition." He is asked "Did you see him?" and responds "Yes I saw him, I think he is dead."

The video is doctored. In the translation it says "object" but in Hebrew he reports "I think I hit SOMEONE." He did not say "object." This is obvious (to Hebrew speakers anyway)

MISTRANSLATION indicates that the whole thing was put together for its obvious effect. As for the driver acting jovial, we don't know what time that picture was taken. He might have laughed to a joke earlier in the day. The whole think is a cut and splice job.

What purpose do you think this mistranslation serves? It went from Hebrew to Arabic to English, so I don't doubt it's a mistranslation, but the whole point is the driver acknowledging that he has hit someone and saw them.I posted this solely for the IDF footage.

As for the editing - nobody has video of the incident except for the IDF - so any video not from the IDF is from earlier in the day or the previous day.The editing may be overly dramatic, but you'd have to take that up with the director.
