Rev. Lennox Yearwood - Power to the People

It is time for the people to put impeachment on the table!
Iraq spins out of control. Bush escalates and threatens still wider war with Iran. The Bush program of torture and illegal detentions continues. These are war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Bush's full program remains in effect. NSA Spying, the Patriot Act, the Military Commission Act: all continue. And all are illegal. The whole program of the Bush Administration must be thoroughly repudiated by removing him from office before his term expires; otherwise, the whole direction he has taken society will be condoned, legitimated, and made permanent.
A movement to Impeach Bush for War Crimes can quickly advance the whole struggle; making ending the war and removing Bush a reality. As Impeachment becomes imminent and his war optons grow more limited; the more his war crimes are exposed, the greater the impetus for his removal and repudiation.

  • The Hip Hop caucus? Bwa-ha-ha-ha!! I hated Bush too but...... you're a dumbass.

  • even the crackers are raisin up power, times are changing

  • Well, both can happen-he can be impeached, then tried, found guilty and sent to prison.

  • (1 of 5)All I know is when the current president's father was in the White House we had that Gulf War and instead of going on into Baghdad the troops stopped outside the gates. Then along comes this little fellow and somehow the administration convinced the American people there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq so we went to war again.

  • (2 of 5)Then we were going to help the Iraqi's set up a Democracy. Excuse me but how long did it take to set up our Democracy in the U.S.? It can't happen overnight and why should our resources be drained to do it for the Iraqi's? I'm bothered by all the soldiers who've been killed in the past 8 years, committed suicide and have come back damaged psychologically and emotionally, this is wrong.

  • (3 of 5)Then we learned that "they" have been processing the corn and wheat back in the mid western states in an attempt to produce alternative fuel. That can't happen overnight either so now we have high food prices. Also I remember something about how we were supposed to get oil from Iran or Iraq in return for something, what happened to that?

  • (4 of 5)Now we are all dealing with skyrocketing food costs, gasoline costs and I don't know about the rest of you but I'm as mad as hell. Somebody needs to be brought to account for this fix we are in. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for getting out of the cars and having alternative transportation but it has to be planned which didn't happen.

  • (5 of 5)Our debt is ridiculous, China owns us and can hold us hostage which frankly scares me. Then there is our so called representatives in Washington who want us to trust them but they lie to us. Our forefathers didn't lie, why is it necessary for the politicians to lie to us today? What to do?? I'm open for suggestions, somebody's head should roll for this.
