Mesa Police Helicopter Pilots terrorize women and children that were in this house and a teenager who wanted to come home. They did this because they thought it would be fun! The other reason is because the meddlesome neighbor who lives across the street and 2 houses to the west of our home, works with and trains with the Mesa Police Aviation Unit so he called his helicopter buddies and told them I was on the roof installing more cameras so they came straight over. As you can see the pilots also point the light down the street being careful not to accidentally shine another house by accident and light-up his house; this was their equivalent of giving him a high five....
Turn Yourselves in! Just cooperate, it will be easier for you.. It will go something like this: "I was just following orders; there is a lot of pressure out there you don't understand...Mesa is in a Big budget crisis and wide spread layoffs are coming! The Aviation Unit is draining money from the whole city, no one is happy with us" More than $10,000.00 an hour per chopper just to spy on our own citizens. The City of Mesa Canceled the Martin Luther King Day Parade, forcing Mesa Businessmen and Woman to pay for it themselves $10,000.00 was what it cost for the parade, hope they don't find out what we spent just to spy on them for 1 day! "After The DeGrootes took us to court, we harassed them even more, to teach them a lesson for complaining about us. We had no idea that the DeGrootes would catch it all on video tape and not back down from us... We thought they had something to hide; something we would uncover. We were wrong" I guess out of thousands of innocent people we have terrorized over the years. These are the only ones that had the courage and conviction to do something about it and they certainly did." "These poor folks have been put through the ringer; we gave it to them good" One of the pilots got personal; even harassing them on his own time, telling as many pilots as he could to buzz the DeGrootes home; pitching a story he may even believe himself... Declaring he was hit with a beam of light from a flashlight while searching for a dangerous criminal causing him to "go blind" He arrived on the scene after the suspects were already in custody to keep the area lit up so everyone could gloat, pat each other on the back and eat some Krispy Creams"
@ 3:30am. Then they went to the DeGrootes home all strung-out on adrenaline from the chase and the sugar, they surrounded the home with plain closed cops in un-marked cars and trucks kicking on the door and even turning their power off from the circuit breaker. I don't know anyone that stupid, turning someone's power off is clearly a violation of that families rights and a punishable crime if committed by anyone. The helicopter flew inches from their house shining the light into their home just teaching them a lesson. It should have of ended there but one bad cop/pilot got everyone all hyped up and continued to stalk and torment this family; even following their children shining the light into the window of their daughters car while she was bringing the little boys home from religious education.. Now I don't know anyone who would go that low but him, he is a DIRTY COP!! We all knew better; oh well. A few weeks later that one bad cop/pilot chased Mr. DeGroote down in his own car like a maniac and assaulted him and put him in jail for no reason at all. He even had to con another un-suspecting beat cop into falsifying the booking papers by just making something up, when the jailers told him "we can't take him he's clean and has no warrants maybe you could just charge him with trespassing" "he did not do anything just shined a light at one of the air unit guys a few months ago" (he responded) some one else said: "so what" "He was writing down license plate numbers from the police Aviation parking lot" "Not against the law however" "We can't take him, can't do it" (said one of the jailers) Later in court, when they played the surveillance tapes back and listened to the calls between the cops that night, mannnn that was that... Not to mention there are records from radar, logs and GPS records from when we fly all of them were compared to prior months, they see how much time we spent there. We couldn't hide it, we knew we couldn't hide it if it came down to the wire; well it has come down to the wire... We never thought the DeGrootes could do anything about it.....

This is very disturbing! Is someone going to stop them from continuing to harass these people. What's more who is going to pay for the mesa police to hang out flying a helicopter above these peoples home in the middle of the night just for the hell of it?

Wow! I hope that the pilots that did this are put in jail where they should be!!!! If they are cops they give good cops and good aviators everywhere a bad name!
