Hey nice effort on the installation. You are very handy all you need is a little more creativity and a bit more patience and im sure it would come out excellent but overall it's a good start and good effort. Check out my videos on my new silverado and you'll see what I mean. two thumbs up

as soon as i saw the phrase from handyman corner i figured you were canadian. i live in texas and have my whole life. when at the lake as a kid the red green show would broadcast on our local public broadcasting channel and it quit coming on years ago and i sure miss it. nice setup ya got there. one question, was harold gay in the show or just real wimpy?

@boxersrock1 Yes I am Canadian. Steve Smith (Red Green) retired a few years ago, cancelling the show. The fella that played 'Mike' passed away a couple weeks ago as well. There are quite a few full-length episodes on Youtube and other video sites, I still watch them. And... I think Harold was just wimpy.

@K1RKDAB0UNTYHUNT3R The control boxes that have the three options, like what I use, are on Ebay and do come with lights. You can purchase them on their own. They are not the Type-R ones... these ones simply have three options:
A- One side flashes four times, then the other flashes four times
B- One side flashes once, then the other side flashes once
C- Both sides flash at the same time
You can buy them separately or with the LED strobe lights. Message me if you want a link.

Truck is a 1994 Silverado I bought for $1000, I trim trees around powerlines for a living. My own company. Cheap truck, cheap lights = CHEAP installation. So please, don't tell me something I don't already know. Bought them to be noticeable at the work sites.
