I use the babolat pure drive gt roddick 2012 with rpm blast strings strung at 62 pounds
-
the best grip is babolat pro tour black or wite
-
i am going to make a review soon about it in 2 weeks because i just got it
-
I recently purchased a new racquet and i was looking at getting one of these however i ended up going with the wilson k factor three fx (i think its called). But the babolat is still a really nice racquet.

Nadal uses the 100 sq. inch Aero Pro Drive GT, not the vortex. I use it, strung at 61, rubber band or Babolat dampner, White tack wilson over grips
-
I use ''babolat pure drive gt plus roddick''

@haloringsofdeath when you begin playing tennis expensive player rackets and beginner rackets won't really make a difference. Once you start getting good at tennis, you are able to play ALOT BETTER WITH THE EXPENSIVE PLAYER RACKETS

AeroPro with GT, I am having to get it replaced since the frame is cracking in two spots. The frame is horrible it was supposed to be for spin but I had to put extra effort to add a good amount of spin. The frame is horribly unstable and it warps when there is humidity in the air. Overall horrible frame, strung with Wilson Sensation at 60 lbs.
I use pure storm gt I have got 2
A red tour bag x12
Strung at 59 lbs
With Rpm blast
With leather grip
And sonic dampiner

@98upgrade That sounds like a great combo. How do you like the leather grip?

I am wanting to know if these +$185.00 racquets are really that much better than a $20-$30 racquet I would get from a Dicks or Wal-Mart?

@haloringsofdeath I would think so. The materials and design are made specifically for the tennis player, not so that they can mass-produced quickly and cheaply. All depends on your point of view. I'm sure a good tennis player could play well with one of those racquets and a good set of strings. They would just be able to play better (I think) with a more expensive racquet made from better materials.
