Although I got very worried when Ms. Espenson talked about drawing from Buffy, her statement here that she wants to preserve BSG's moral complexity makes me feel a bit better. I just hope they don't overdo the humor or the teen melodrama.

Appeal to young women? Is that the target for Caprica? Because they pilot was rehasing decades old notions at a glacial speed. We know you can bring it Jane, kinly put your foot on the speeder and lets get moving!

Let's hope that female cast can portray their characters as good as Laura was portrayed.
If only we could see another strong male like the admiral. I have always thought Ian Mcshane would be good for the verse.
