this song is funny. I grew up in jacksonville with immigrant, non-Christian, non-military parents. we are "stuck" in jacksonville. I was so determined to leave that i applied to mostly out of state schools, and now i go to college across the country, in a city in the NW. i go back home over break, spending most of my time at the Barnes and Noble, which has been in our city for two years. I used to be so upset about being from a small, "awful" town, but now i find this song a bit too emo now.

honestly neil young is a legend, and i respect him dearly. but i think ryan adams will no doubt be the legend neil young is, if not beyond. i hate those neil young/ryan adams comparison, whether about their style, songwriting, or their facial looks. it's all nonsense
