Shot on 2011 USBC Open Pattern ball speed 19 mph
Storm is known for producing the best high performance balls on the market. When the Virtual Gravity was released in 2008, it not only turned heads but gave bowlers of all skill levels an unprecedented amount of hook on even the oiliest lanes imaginable.
The new Virtual Gravity Nano is intended to create a similar yet stronger ball motion built specifically for heavy oil. Looking at the original Virtual Gravity, the Shape-Lock HD™ weight block/core system produced a fast-revving action that especially helped bowlers looking for a stronger change of direction usually privy to only those with big rev rates! The Shape-Lock HD motor will continue to power the Nano as well.
With Nanotechnology, NRG will give bowlers increased oil traction due to the micro-dynamic enhancements of the surface. Just looking at the surface of the new NRG material shows you the increased surface texture between the peaks and valleys, as well as the more aggressive edges on the top of the peaks! Storm is continuing to push the envelope; they just hope you are ready for it.

  • Shot 800 with the Nano tonight. 269 279 252

  • You throw an awesome shot, lots of speed and revs.I dunno my rev rate but I've been told that it's way above average, but I don't consistently throw 19 such as yourself because I throw with no thumb which restricts my backswing to almost nothing.I bought a Nano a couple months ago and even with my revs I couldn't hardly get it to break yet I swing my Hyroad all across the lane on a typical house condition. Not sure if its the 4000 grit finish or the weight block but the Nano wasn't right4me

  • FAGAN!

  • need to resurface my nano :( mines like shiney now

  • @crimsontide1980 I believe that the overly aggressive nature of the NRG coverstock caused excessive roll out for you. I suggest try putting 2000 with polish. see if that helps.

  • @streetshoesbowling i need a ball for heavy oil i throw the world beater and i always have some trouble with that lanes until they finally breakdown

  • @dern8042 these newer high end performance balls really need lots of maintenance in order to keep them hooking. About 70-80% of a balls hooking power comes from it's coverstock. Making sure that the coverstock is kept clean and as close to new as possible is key. Regular cleaning, resurfacing, and oil extraction will all need to be used eventually to keep the ball hooking.

I have fairly high speed myself ranging from 17.5 to 18, when I first drilled this ball in May, it hooked out of the house. Now in August first night of winter leagues, my mission 2.0 makes the nano look like a plastic ball. I would hate to imagine that a 3 month old high end ball is burnt up already! I'm very disappointed. This was my favorite ball but now I'm doubting it. I never have been much of a Storm fan Brunswick till I die. This is just one more thing reinforcing that

  • @robr2004 he's tall and has a high back swing i know for sure that plays a factor

  • @streetshoesbowling Thats cool I shot a 838 with mine 280, 280, 279

  • @StormBowler1994 no its not you are correct. however, if you look AT THE TITLE CLOSELY IT IS THE USBC OPEN PATTERN AS IN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS AKA NATIONALS.
