A friend of mine gave me Stoneage Romeos while i was stationed on the DMZ in Korea. A year later, on heavy doses of acid, i was listening to this album at Ft. Hood, Texas. It saved my life, because the army fucking sucked! God bless the Gurus!

And the same to the programmers who passed it over or gave it token play. Unfortunately the Bangles couldn't do enough.

Two of my best friends and I drove from Alabama to Atlanta to see Hoodoo Gurus play at Six Flags back in around 1987. They were opening up for The Bangles. We drove 100 mph and hot there late and ran throughout the park . We heard them say "Good night" and then listen to 1 song by The Bangles and then drove 2 1/2 hours home. It sucked but I won't forget that trip.

I envy my parents , when I have kids I'll have to tell them the music of my generation was one direction, Justin, Lil Wayne and techno that doesn't make sense half the time
