  • <3 aptana, nice GOA song

  • I don't know how to use any of these methods, the (Alt + E) opens the edit menu, is this some pluging I need to add?

  • @bashlaevandrey1 Manuel le Saux - Reflex :)

  • what name of song? please

  • I am loving zen-coding in Aptana, thanks!! Q - watched your Vimeo vid, maybe that was text expander? Wondering how to wrap content in Aptanta (like the list of exsisting items in ul>li*) - possible?

  • How can I split the view and have a code window and a preview of what I am doing up in the code?

  • If you're working on PHP, you'll be working with either a framework of a template system. Enter TPL files. It allows you to only add things once and use loops if you need more. If you do as the vid shows, even for just one line, you'll still be editing the result manually, to insert the reference to the PHP files. It's a fancy, but pointless feature.

This is only useful for static HTML files. And if your HTML files are so big you need an IDE to edit them, you should be using PHP instead.

  • Mate, how do u define something being important? For a coder, speed is important. If not, why use an IDE? IDE offers speed, flexibility, debugging, etc. but then you might call those as not important, just as you did in your ignorant comment.

  • There will be speed improvements in writing the code, but I don't find it important.
