wtf, i got 2.66 pentium4 506 prescott, 1.5 gb ram, 8600 gts , and i put 1024*768 and low settings on this game, but it still looks laggy with 50 fps

1gb of RAM is NOTHING!! You need at least 2gb to be able to do anything fun...
Try going to the GeForce 9 series graphics cards. I have a 9600 GT PCI express x16 2.0. $50 for my card.
Or if you REALLY wanna go for broke, get the GeForce 260 through 295. Really expensive though.

hey i have this same graphic card but i only have 1 gig of ram and i cant run stalker as good as you can if i get 2 gigs will that chang alot (i also got the complete 2009 mod)

whoooaahh cool.... I see there's like motion blur too, I had no idea stalker had motion blur
maybe that's just caused by whatever you were using to capture it, but it looks cool
well done to squeeze those settings out of an 8600gts :D mine can only do medium at 1024x768 :(
