@hailtheheroful "make a joyful noise unto the lord." can "fancy guitars and drums" not be used to glorify god? at what point does the music become too fancy? Is a piano too fancy? is a pipe organ too fancy? because they didn't have those in Jesus's day. Is it only worship if the music is played poorly? is the worship better if someone doesn't know how to play the instrument? Just because worship music has been done one way for a while doesn't mean it is no longer worship if it changes.

@hailtheheroful on the contrary, I thought that the every part of the background music was necessary. I felt the emotion pouring through all aspects of the music, showing just how much they absolutely adore God and want to share their love with the world.

as good as this song is, and as great as the band is, an actual christian song doesn't need fancy guitar or drums, it takes away from the point, which is the lyrics. the music should not overpower the lyrics when the lyrics are more important. as we all know, lucifer is/was the angel of music ..

Agreed :) Before we sang this at church one sunday our worship leader told us the story behind the song, so powerful but it just shows that like when we feel like our world is falling around us God never leaves us. He loves us unconditionally ♥
