MUSIC by MG-Rizzello, please visit http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/74920

This video is a collaboration between TheLivingDinosaur and AtheismTV.
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheLivingDinosaur

It is a parody of Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron (and Kent Hovind too). The topic is a web site made by Ray Comfort against evolution. Here's a link to the site in question:
http://www.intelligentdesignversusevolution.com/

The first page is for selling you merchandise. (The links don't even work.)

If you wait 30 seconds you will see at the top the words "Win $10,000 for Proof of Evolution". Click on the "Please read both arguments. Click here" button. This brings you to a second page. This has a list of arguments FOR and AGAINST evolution. (The arguments FOR evolution are really arguments AGAINST evolution.)

At the bottom of this page there's an email address: proof at intelligentdesignversusevolution.com

subject I've got a good example of a transitional form
mailed-by gmail.com

On one side there's a walking animal with legs, the Ambulocetus shown here:
http://www.philvaz.com/apologetics/Ambulocetus.jpg

Notice the nasal opening is on the front of the face.

On the other side there's fin mammals like modern wales, with no legs and nasal opening at the top of the head.

In between the two there's the Protocetids family, such as the Rodhocetus shown here:
http://skywalker.cochise.edu/wellerr/students/whales/whales_files/image010.gif

Notice the nasal opening moved backwards, with feet now specialized for swimming.

My claim is that the protocetids constitute a transitional form between the Ambulocetus form and today's wales and dolphins. Here's a scientific peer-reviewed paper backing up my claim: http://www.annualreviews.org/doi/abs/10.1146/annurev-earth-040809-152453

One thing worth mentioning is the shape of the back of the crane. This is characteristic of wales, and only wales. No other modern species has that. This indicates lineage between all these forms.

Please give me the instructions to receive my prize.

  • who was the artist and what's with the awkward sized bulges? they were almost as bullshit as their arguments.

  • @theshiznojudge I made them myself. They're both happy to see each other.

And the funniest thing is, this challenge is for real.

  • ''Evolutionism is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless." Louis Bounoure - President of the Biological Society of Strasbourg and Director of the Strasbourg Zoological Museum

  • @mwwood79 This quote is incorrect. You should verify your sources before you copy nonsense from a creatard web site. The first sentence is from Jean Rostand in 1959 and it should read "Transformism is a fairy tale for adults."

The rest of the sentence is paraphrased from an out-of-context (quote mined) paragraph of Bounoure's book. Moreover he was never director there.

  • Are they the good guys?

  • @pochopaz7381 It's 100% sarcasm.

  • "Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon — it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory." - Scott D. Weitzenhoffer

  • @NoNamesLeft0102 Tomato, tomato. Just kidding.

Good catch. I could correct the typo but then they'd say I tampered with the data. That plus I'm extremely lazy.

  • I didn't have to be told this "challenge" was rigged, only how! What loathsome creatures both of these guys are.

  • @AtheismTV

if they wanted to make a real challenge that nobody would pass, just give a million dollars to anyone who can watch one of their videos without laughing or screaming at the screen. i fail every time.

  • @Schneboll roflmao

  • @papasitoman 'youre just a real genius'
