The town of Kom Ombo is on the Nile River, Egypt, between Luxor and Aswan. It is a popular stopping point for tour boats as there are ruins of an ancient Egyptian temple within walking distance of the dock. Souvenir vendors have erected stalls along the dock. This video shows a walk down and back along these stalls in the evening early in January, 2010. I have posted a series of 7 videos that cover my Egypt and Jordan tour. You can reach them most easily by doing a YouTube search with the following entry: Egypt-Jordan part 1 of 7 --- and after you've seen part 1, then replace "1" with "2" (and so forth) in the search box until you've seen all 7.
