These people have cartoon visions of immortality and possibly reality.

Yes, to immortality as long as the option to die was still availble in the event of unreasonable suffering/unhappiness was an in.
I think immortality would be the best thing for humanity, it would force people to stop thinking "I'll be dead before the consequences of this happen". It would force people to think long term on all of their actions. Not to mention the benifits to have highly experienced individuals making better and better decisions in everyday issues.

I would definitely choose Immortality over Death. In fact, that's my goal in life, to become Immortal. I understand that if you lived forever, you would witness everyone dying around you, but that's what it takes if you want to live forever. And seriously, who would turn away the opportunity to live forever!?, not me! For some reason for me when I was growing up, I've always wanted to live forever, but now I know why.

That cigarette sure wont make u imortall.. But yeah, i would choose imortallity, now, i believe that.. When u die. Ur reborned.. Or let me put it this way, ur ENERGY is reborned (not physics energy; N, i mean CHI) so.. In a way, we all are imortall. I dont believe that the universe ends. Allthough, i respect ur beliefs. Good bye

Mr. Lebowsk1, I cannot make those assurances until you can demonstrate that you have the bag.

I'd need the assurance of ominpotence to accept this offer of eternal life. I would need to know that if I wanted to sleep for 1000 years, I could do that.
Living forever here could not possibly be better than living in Heaven for all eternity.

Don't fret. You're not the only person who completely missed the point of this little social experiment. You kind of have to watch all the way to the end.

Sorry if that came off a bit hostile. It was meant sarcastic not hostile.

Regret: When I get to the end of my days I do not fear regretting the things I have done. I fear regretting things I have not done.
Brilliant Vid! Thanks!
