This is my home wind generator, it works with a 24v cc generator(small motor used as generator). It produces a pulsed current, but with an small capacitor and a regulated source you can charge a 9v battery!

  • if i put alternador to car, can charge?? but how many rpm need? or win speed? if i putt 2 alternador is more fast charge? i need for my RV, or i need put little transmission?

  • A car alternator is not useful because the wind speed is never enough to move its axis (transmition is not useful), you need a permanent magnet generator. Good luck!

  • HOw big would this have to be in order to plug into the household with an inverter?

  • It depends on the wind average on your house, but a minium of 1m blade and 3 blades (2m diameter), with a 10-35km/h wind can generate 700-1500w wich is suitable for a medium home. God Luck!

  • Hola, muy bonito tu mini-generador. ¿Puede servir el motor de una impresora para lo mismo?. Gracias.

  • Hola si puede servir simplemendte vas a poder prender unos cuantos LED´s y nada mas jeje.

  • Will provide room and board in New York city if you can help implement this in my building!!

  • a home wind generator can help you to lower or eliminate your home electric bill. Home wind generators are a great way to save money by lowering your use of grid supplied energy.

  • @kepfingered Not sure if anyone answered you, but Ametek makes great motors that will work for what you need. Yes you want a brushless DC permanent magnet motor, don't try car alternators they don't work well. Try

ametektip(dot)com or for some basic info freeairpower(dot)com

    Good luck.

  • pretty nice job on that, i like it.

  • just throwing this out there (am a comeplete novice) . Looks like wires can get twisted from the rotation of the turbine catching the wind. maybe try a spring ( for windows , about 12inches , 5/8 thick ) might work .might not. Has anyone tried this?

  • WHERE would i buy a generator for a turbine i live in ny and would it be a permanant magnet generator

  • Be smart - don't pay any more electricity bills. more info: solar.xfollow.me (Copy to your browser's address bar)
