NAAD, a not for profit organization in association with Bhavan Centre, a London based charity is organising this top class concert of Hindustani Vocal music by Ustad Rashid Khan. Ustad Rashid Khan is one of todays most respected and well-renowned Hindustani vocalists, who attracts many music lovers and music students. Ustadji is a torchbearer of the Rampur Sahaswan Khayal Gharana. He is performing in the UK after a long spell of 2 years. Accompanying him on the tabla is Rajkumar Misra and on harmonium is Pandit Jyoti Goho. "There is now atleast one person in sight who is an assurance for the future of Indian classical vocal music" said Pt Bhimsen Joshi voicing a few years ago the concern of connoisseurs of Hindustani vocal music about whether its tradition of excellence would continue.
