In 1924 Claude Friese-Greene (cinematographer and son of moving-image pioneer William) embarked on an intrepid road trip from Land's End to John O'Groats. Entitled The Open Road

It was "The Twenties in Colour" and the photographer was someone called Khan. I think. I know what you mean, I always dream of living in the twenties, life was simpler, social networking didn't exist and radical changes were happening. God I'm sentimental.

outstanding... I wish I could have lived back then... so peaceful.. no threat of terrorism :( Does anyone remember a programme that was on BBC1 about two years ago , lost footage of a guy touring England in the 20s and taking moving pictures in colour. The presenter followed in his footsteps .. if anyone can rememeber the name, I would appreciate it . Thanks
