Artifacts: Museum Station Platform

The redesigned Museum Station was unveiled in a public ceremony on April 8, 2008. This video is a quick glimpse of some of the new columns on the platform which represent Canada's First Nations ("The Wuikinuxv First National House Post"), ancient Egypt ("The Osiris Pilaster"), Mexico's Toltec culture ("The Warrior"), China's traditional culture ("The Forbidden City Columns") and the Parthenon in Greece ("The Doric Columns").

My thought at first: I was not going to like this. Keep it original.

After looking at this wonderful transformation. I love it. I'm a local artist in Sault Ste. Marie, and boy my attitude quickly changed. Kudos to Aaron Adel for the wonderful footage. Thanks for posting.
