All Pro Quarterback Kurt Warner, who founded the faith based, First Things First Foundation (kurtwarner.org), talks about the fears he has for those closest to him (including family and teammates) who haven't taken the same leap of faith he's taken. Warner has always been very outspoken about his faith. At the pinnacle of his greatest football moment, upon winning The Super Bowl, Warner tells ABC's Mike Tirico, "First things first. I've got to give praise and glory to the Lord up above. Thank you, Jesus!!!" Warner is just one of many athletes, everyday people, theologians, scholars, and religious leaders to face the two main questions inside, "God In The Box."

  • He was thanking Jesus when he was stocking groceries for a living too. I think you got the cart before the horse: He is making $23 mil a year because he honors God and follows His commandments.

  • Kurt Warner is an amazing person. Even if not a hugely successful football star, he is still an amazing person. Caring about family, friends and teammates is admirable. I would hope they do take responsibility for their lives to a degree equal to Kurt Warners compassion for them. Fine man, fine father, fine football player and someone anyone would be lucky to have as a friend.

  • All of his teammates are sooo dorksided!!! Larry believes in Gorgyles & Slykicks!!

  • i dont know who piss me off more, atheist elitists or christian elitists. If kurt really thinks people who dont believe what believes are going to hell.....well my respect for him has dropped dramatically

  • @Moocow002

    Thanks for your response.

Would you please search for Kirk Cameron- the Good Person Test?

    Thanks!

  • I heard Kurt was raised Catholic. We believe that it's pretty hard to get into hell, but also that faith isn't enough to get into heaven; your actions lead you to heaven, too!

    This sounds like it.

Just so I make sure I cover it Catholics believe non-Christians get to heaven, too.

  • This is fucking ridiuclous, I mean you have know clue if G-d is a man, woman, tranny or just a process of thought. You have no right to judge nor do you have the true concept that G-d judges if you go to heaven or stay on earth (purgatory). White men invented the idea of hell and forced it on middle eastern jews and muslims during their crucades, there is no hell and people cannot grasp the true identity of theism or atheism

  • kurt warner is a great guy and all, but me being a non-religious person, if there is a heaven in hell, if only people as faithful as kurt warner got in, then that would be a rather empty heaven, and an extremely crowded hell

  • Faith makes you weak, Look within yourself, don't just assume some guy in the sky has a plan for you and you have no free will.

I also guarantee that he doesn't no shit about the bible compared to many people, including atheists. If he was really among people who didn't believe, he should kill them. That is what jesus says, Luke 19:27.

Of course someone with a clean slate can be manipulated. Thats why most believe. They were taught as children before they could make a choice. Pure ignorance.
